Anxiety and depression counselling

Are you feeling low, restless, overwhelmed or maybe you feel anxious, stuck and unable to focus and are wondering what to do next. This can be exhausting but please know that you are not alone. Many people experience this and feel stuck in a place that is hard to explain or escape from. 


My sessions offer a discreet, non judgemental space both online and in person, where you will be heard with empathy and kindness and the pace is set by you.


How We’ll Work Together

We will identify the theory that is right for you (please see Therapies offered).


With counselling we will:

  • explore your experience at a pace that feels right and identify triggers and emotional patterns that may be keeping things stuck and what might help shift them.
  • develop tools for coping with anxiety, relaxing tense thoughts, calming racing feelings, and navigating low moods.
  • learn practical strategies like mindfulness, breathing techniques, gentle reframing, and self‑soothing activities.
  • grow emotional resilience through reflective conversations and, if helpful, creative/expressive approaches.


Unlike limited NHS counselling that often comes with long waits and few sessions, my therapy is flexible and client-centered. You get as many sessions as you need until you feel more grounded, understood, and able to cope effectively .

Who I Work With

I support adults and teens dealing with:

Persistent low mood, lack of joy, or withdrawal

Chronic worry, panic, or racing thoughts

Self‑esteem or self‑criticism issues

Stress, overwhelm, or burnout

Trauma histories or past experiences that still feel unresolved

Whether you’re struggling for the first time or have faced these challenges long-term, there’s space here for healing.

What to Expect

In Your First Session

We’ll start with a gentle conversation: understand what you’ve been experiencing, what’s happened so far, and what you’re hoping for. Together we’ll map a way forward—no pressure, just collaboration.

Ongoing Sessions

These follow-up talks may include creative prompts, thought work, mindfulness, or simply reflecting on what’s coming up. You decide the focus -what feels safe and belonging to your process.

Confidential & Accredited

All sessions are confidential and held under ethical counselling standards.

I am an accredited member of the NCPS and have enhanced DBS check.
